Op 27 maart 2024 promoveerde Sjoukje Bouma aan de Rijksuniversiteit Groningen op haar proefschrift getiteld ‘Lifestyle-related treatment modalities in hip and knee osteoarthritis care: a mixed-methods investigation of implementation determinants and strategies among healthcare professionals’. Het onderzoek werd verricht onder supervisie van promotoren dr. M. Stevens, dr. I. van den Akker-Scheek, prof. dr. R.L. Diercks en prof. dr. L.H.V. van der Woude. In dit artikel worden de belangrijkste bevindingen besproken.
