Op 8 juni 2022 promoveerde Carlijn Lamers aan de Wageningen Universiteit op haar proefschrift getiteld ‘The role of the Dutch dietary and physical activity guidelines in inflammatory bowel disease: implications for clinical practice’. Het onderzoek werd verricht onder supervisie van promotor prof. dr. B.J.M. Witteman en copromotor dr. ir. N.M. de Roos en mede mogelijk gemaakt door Eat2Move en de Alliantie Voeding in de Zorg. In dit artikel worden de belangrijkste bevindingen besproken.
